You can find your API key in your account settings area, we have chosen to make the API simple and easy so all you need to do is call the API urls with your key in the url variable key. This API key will have full access so keep it safe. You can also experiment with the API without needing the key in place via your browser that is already logged into your NodeHost account. Just open a API url like for example (nodehost.ca/api/containers) and it will run using your API key automatically. To add your API key just add it to the URL like so (/api/containers?key=APIKEYHERE).
